a tribute
to those whom i have called friend
to those whose faces i know and know not
you have all been pieces of the landscape
in the portrait of my life
i could not have thought of better objects to paint
providence has provided me with such good fortune
that i might encounter all of you
after all, it is the spirit of our personal relationships
that we shall take with us after this life, nothing else
i am grateful for this, i just thought you should know
